Alan Saggerson
His Honour Judge Alan Saggerson is one of Her Majesty’s Circuit Judges. Previously headed the acclaimed Travel Law practice group at 1 Chancery Lane where he specialised in all aspects of international travel, transport and leisure accident law and was recognised as a leading practitioner in these areas. He was described in Chambers & Partners (2009) as ‘Mr Travel’, a ‘leading light in the sector who commands respect from all’, with sources agreeing that ‘there is nothing that Saggerson doesn’t know about travel law’ and in The Legal 500 (2008) as ‘a pioneer in travel law’. He wasthe chairman of the Travel and Tourism Lawyers’ Association, author of Travel Law & Litigation (4th edition 2008) and is a member of the editorial board of the Travel Law Quarterly. .
