Dr Hans-Josef Vogel

Dr Vogel was admitted to the bar in 1994. Prior to joining Beiten Burkhardt, he was partner in a highly regarded regional law firm and was responsible for the Corporate and International Departments, and partner in the national firm Avocado Rechtsanwälte. He is an honorary professor with the International University of Applied Sciences at Bad Honnef for National and Tourism Law; he is a visiting lecturer with Suffolk Hall Law School, Boston and served as chair of the Leisure Industries Committee of the IBA between 2006-2007. He is the German member of the Global Association of Hospitality Attorneys and a founding member and chairman of the Association for Alternative Dispute Resolution and co-founded the Rhine Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Dr Vogel counsels corporations and entrepreneurs in matters of corporate and commercial law, often in a transactional context. Many of his clients are international. His practice emphasises travel and tourism law for tour operators, suppliers and intermediaries. He is the counsel of the Internet Travel Association, which is the association of the leading German Internet intermediators, tour operators and service providers.
