Professor David Grant (Editor in Chief)

David Grant is Professor Emeritus at Northumbria University and Visiting Professor of Travel Law at Leeds Metropolitan University. While at Northumbria he established the Travel Law Centre in 1992 and the International Travel Law Journal in 1994. He was editor in chief of the ITLJ until it was discontinued at the end of 2008. He is co-author of ‘Holiday Law’ (Sweet & Maxwell, 4th. ed. 2007) with Stephen Mason and also co-author of ‘Hotel Law’ (Northumbria Law Press, 2007) with Helen Douglas and Julia Sharpley. He has written and lectured extensively on travel law. He is a member of the IBA Leisure Industries Section, of TATLA, of IFTTA and of ATIPAC (the Air Travel Insolvency Protection Advisory Committee). Previously he was a member of the AUC (the Air Transport Users Committee) and Chair of Newcastle Airport Consultative Committee.
